Democrats Still Clinging To Myth of "Jobs Americans Won't Do"

Guffaw, Boulderdash , poppycock and meadowmuffins

Americans don't want to be slave labor

that means YOU reading this

The elites that run this country want YOU to be their b*tch

They've literally killed off any 'collective voice' for labor (for those of you who've a clue what that means), and have politicized their narrative to convince you that you, you're spawn is a lazy dependent

Follow the $$$ for Gawd's sake

It is dishonest to pretend that illegals are primarily migrant farmworkers.

That is ignorant of you to do so. Stupid even. And you sound full of hate.
And the farmworkers don't have the toughest jobs. I worked on a farm here in Florida, picking oranges and grapefruit. It was nowhere near as tough as when I worked as a Combat Construction Specialist in the Army Corps of Engineers, building bridges. (without cranes) - and that was here in the US. Not in war.

Look, I know that at times I come across as arrogant and condescending towards Trump's base. But I'm trying really, really hard to understand their plight. Even though I'm a hardcore capitalist, I try to be sympathetic to the plight of others.

However, I also know what we've experienced. And at times, it's hard to reconcile what I've witnessed and what this white working class complains about.

When illegal immigrants are willing to work much harder than the locals, even though I don't agree with illegals and the fucking liberals open borders policies, it's hard to feel sorry for the locals in general.
Did you read the OP ? Is so, read it again, until it sticks.

While you're at it, see Post # 34 & 38.
Some locals are lazy, but most people I worked with were good. There were a lot of non-English speaking people who always seemed to be dodging work or leaving things for others to finish.

And one of those "various forces" is that American workers aren't willing to do certain jobs that their parents and grandparents were willing to do.

They view those jobs as beneath them.
Looks like you didn't read the OP. You happen to be WRONG.

"Who will mow our lawns if not for illegal aliens?" said Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-NJ) (despite decades of proof to the contrary). At a public speaking event, in Hillsborough, NJ, Malinowski advised voters that there were very good reasons to keep illegal aliens flowing into the US.

“There are a lot of jobs in our community that, like it or not, for better or for worse, Americans are not willing to take,” said Malinowski. He went on to say "“Who do you think is taking care of our seniors? Who do you think is mowing our beautiful lawns in Somerset County?"

Well, maybe there are SOME Americans who wouldn't take these jobs, but I can assure you Tom, there are millions of Americans who are doing jobs, a lot tougher than mowing lawns, cleaning bathrooms, and picking oranges in Florida,

Some of those would include police officers, firefighters, coal miners, and the troops in Afghanistan. As for the lawn mowing, I can remember when American high school and college kids used to mow lawns, on a regular basis and with a non-motorized lawn mower, and I don't see too many illegal aliens losing arms legs, and lives, mowing lawns taking care of seniors, or picking fruit.

Secondly, how many times does it have to be mentioned about the CIS studies that have showed the jobs that allegedly "American's won't do" have consistently been done, over the years, mostly BY NATIVE-BORN AMERICANS. >> maids/housekeepers (55% native-born), taxi drivers (58% native-born), grounds maintenance workers (65% native-born), janitors (73% native-born)

Of the 472 civilian occupations, studied in Census Bureau data collected from 2009 to 2011, only six are majority immigrant (legal and illegal). These six occupations account for 1 percent of the total U.S. workforce. Moreover, native-born Americans still comprise 46 percent of workers even in these 6 occupations.

Democrat: Who Will Mow Our Lawns If Not For Illegal Aliens?

Are There Really Jobs Americans Won’t Do?

Dems want wage slave labourers; they've never got over the KKK in their DNA!!!!

ALL the health care aides in the senior complex where I live are white and black. If they are illegal the providers will not hire them and they do not speak English.

I agree if/whenever they're needed. Too many aren't, and Americans get fired to open up their jobs to lower wage foreigners. Then the Americans even have to endure the indignity of training the foreigners, under threat of losing their severance packages.

You’re right, it should be jobs Republicans don’t know how to do.

LIes.
Each of the plants raided is located in cities or counties with high levels of poverty and extremely low incomes. There were plenty of workers available who probably would have loved to get jobs at the plants.
Jasper County, the location of one of the plants owned by Peco Foods, is a case in point. Jasper’s unemployment rate this June was 7.4 percent, more than twice the national average. A majority-black county, Jasper County has a median household income of only about $35,000 and a 23.8 percent poverty rate. Those who live there need those jobs, but the employer’s alleged scheme denied them that basic chance.
The other plant locations have similar demographics. Canton, Miss., is nearly 70 percent African American, with a 31.4 percent poverty rate for blacks. Scott County is 38 percent black, has a median household income of around $33,000 and a poverty rate more than 21 percent. Leake County is 42 percent black, has a median household income just under $36,000 and a poverty rate of nearly 22 percent. Pelahatchie, a town in Rankin County, is 40 percent black with a median income of just $35,000. Sense a pattern?
Given these figures, the economic impact of illegal immigration becomes clear. The Pew Research Center estimates that more than 7.5 million undocumented immigrants are in the U.S. labor force. Assuming their unemployment rate is roughly equal to the 3.7 percent national average, that means more than 7 million jobs are held by undocumented workers. That can’t help but depress wages and opportunities for native-born American. As the Mississippi figures show, those victims of illegal immigration are often exactly the poor people of color whose continued poverty is a national tragedy.https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...d-immigrants-take-jobs-americans-heres-proof/

and what were those jobs your parents did that Americans will not do now? They were farmworkers and domestic workers and the children were encouraged to go to school and do better then what they did and a lot depends on the area of the country they live in. The inner cities do not have farm work and the majority of illegals live in the inner cities. I personally know black Americans that lost their jobs in housekeeping and painting to illegal aliens and lost everything when they were replaced. The results were they turned to deal in drugs and other crimes to feed their families. The painter was underbid by illegal aliens on jobs he could not afford to do for such low wages and pay the few workers he employed.
I was raised in Arizona where illegal aliens actually did most of the farm work as I did throughout high school and after moved away to go to college.

Libs keep saying this shit, that has been completely bebunked years ago. They know it is shit, but they hope that if they keep repeating it, that they can convince people that it is true.

The worst part is, that it often works.

The worst part is, that it often works.

The entire ' Americans won't do the job' is a lie created by our Gub'Mit for their constituents who want cheap labor.

That Trump goes on a tirade about a wall, yet openly invites foreign labor on in should be revealing of this intent

I've heard mixed messages on his legal foreign labor policies.
