to break from the Democratic Party and launch a third-party worker-based movement.

controlled the party when they had the upper hand, and power was passed from one to the other.
But once they lost that edge, the party no longer has to depend on them and kowtow to whatever they say:

Or will it depend on WHICH LEADERS end up representing the Workers, Greens, and progressive left
