Republicans just never seem to get it. When I look at the title of thread after thread on this forum and others the main theme seems to be "what is the latest scandal we can stir up to assasinate Obama's character."

They beat the "birther" issue to death for the first couple years and where did it go?

Nowhere!

The "Tea Party movement?

In with a ROAR and out with a whimper! Nobody is paying attention to their so called "messages" anymore.

It's all because the GOP never has any real substance to their platform other than resisting change and reform and offering America more of the same in the hopes that voters won't notice that the status quo Republicans defend is broken.

Take the ACA for instance. Don't Republicans realize how transparent it is for them to draw a line in the sand (strictly along party lines) in opposition to Obama's initiative? Don't they think Americans KNOW that something is desperately WRONG with our health care system in the U.S. and something has to be done about it? Being the party of "NO" is what is going to sink the GOP in this election. Democrat strategy is already evolving to reflect this.

Realizing this Republicans are already beginning the great flip-flop on repealing "Obamacare." That's what happens when you don't really STAND for anything.....when your entire platform consists of just saying what you think will get you elected. You have to keep changing your "message" as circumstances evolve.

Now Republicans are realizing "uh-oh, since we don't have a better plan our opposition to this is going to look like just what it is....a bunch of corporate apologists in bed with insurance and AMA lobbyists simply keeping our promises for all those campaign contributions!" How can we oppose this when we're all RICH and WE have insurance????

I take it there is something in my post you disagree with?

Pray.....what would that be?
Everything.

So in other words you don't know what you disagree with or why huh?

You just do?
No, I know what I disagree with and why. Why do idiot lefty's assume to know what others think? Obamaturd has not proven he is an American citizen. The tea party scares the daylights out of libtards just like Sarah does, hence I will support them for that reason alone and watch the dimwits squirm.

No, really, the Tea Party is a non-issue. Focus on the Koch Brothers, watch "The Newroom"

Everything.

Idiot, hypocrit. You do it frequently. Even your avie is hypocritical. You are definitely not an American first. Your are a hack echo sock NewGOPer first. The state of "America" is way down on your list.

You are right. There have been thread after thread opposing Obama on his decisions ( as in Solyndra and other green investments that took taxpayer funds and they ended up holding the empty bag; the appointments of questionable Czars without approval of Congress; appointments of advisors and Departments chiefs who were cronies or some say inept,,,Holder, Geithner, Napolitano and so on)

Mysteries of his past that still are questionable today;

But I have to disagree where there was no real substance to their platform because there was no opportunity for Republicans to be heard. Ryan had economic plans that couldn't get anywhere and the ACA was done behind closed doors and no one could read the bill before voting upon it to see what was in it.

The 2010 elections was an indication that the country was not in favor of the this grandstanding and the maneuvering by Democrats by legislating without input by Republicans.

What I worry about is that this administration has really drawn the line in the sand and just may have set the standard for admiinstrations and Congresses in the future. We have to have a leader now that will emphasize that we all work together as one unite in a bipartisan manner and get the gridlock out of both houses and the Whitehouse.

The Democrats are just as responsible for this mess as anyone.

I hope the next president emphasizes that both parties in Congress have to work together before we see any improvement in this system.

The 2010 election was not a "referendum" on anything.

It's not like Republicans swept anything away. They BARELY regained a majority in the Senate and what have they done with that majority in the last two years?

Nothing.

Obama has tried to reach across the aisle plenty in the past four years.

He has met nothing but obstruction.

Like you have any intelligence on any matter. If you defend obamaturd you are an idiot, idiot. You can take your brain out and continue playing ball.

The republicans got control of the House not the senate. The House has passed many things that reid in the senate has blocked. It is the dimwits that are the problem.

When an administration has the total cooperation of the mainstream media anything is possible. We have a criminal enterprise in the White House and the media ignores every scandal. The Attorney General should be in jail and Barry Hussein would be laughed out of town if the media was doing it's job.
