Gunnies will remember Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Safe Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act. Essentially, Cuomo banned many of the most popular rifles, made single shots of well over one million magazine fed firearms, an, deliberately made potential felons of four percent of his constituency.

How is that law working out? If media reports can be trusted, violent crime is through the roof. Even the Gang Who Cannot Shoot Straight admits crime is up sharply in Gotham. And there is a sharp increase in violent crime reports from Buffalo, Albany, and other upstate media.

But how is Cuomo’s SAFE Act working out otherwise? The Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal has a report that says things are working out as restrictive gun laws usually do. Poorly.

Will the democrats/progressives/leftists ever understand that disarming people who don't break the law won't stop crime...but really, that isn't what gun laws are about is it...stopping crime...leftists/democrats/progressives have an irrational fear of guns, it is as simple as that...they know they can't make criminals stop using guns, but they know they can make the regular tax payer stop owning guns...if the right penalties are in place and examples are made...like that poor woman with the legal carry permit facing 3 years in prison because she crossed a state line...and tried to be helpful in telling a police officer she had a legally permitted gun on her hip...

It would be nice if the leftist/ democrat/progressives would just where tinfoil hats, and left the rest of us alone...it would be as effective as their laws against guns...but we could get on with living our lives...
