In addition to its immigration provisions, the package — which McConnell could move to advance as early as Tuesday, although a Thursday vote appears more likely — would reopen all parts of the government that are closed. It also would provide emergency funding for U.S. areas hit by hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters.

The package would include an extension of the Violence Against Women Act.

No, DACA had an expiration date placed by Hussein. Trump left it up to Congress on what to do with it. His offer was to extend the deadline by convincing people in his party to do it in exchange for the wall.

Don't say Trump never offered anything. It's a bold faced lie. What isn't a lie is Democrats have not made one reasonable counter-offer to Trump in regards to the construction of the wall. Yes, I use the word "reasonable" because what they are offering now is not even close.

What they offered is to give Trump 1/5 of what he asked for, and in exchange for that 1/5th, they get to control how the wall is built, out of what material, the height, all of it. In other words, Trump still doesn't get any wall. It will be designed by a bunch of politicians who want to see illegal immigration continue. So the wall could be compromised by a ten year old, and then the Democrats can make claim "Trump's" wall didn't work.

Yes I do. It was McConnell and Ryan that talked him into backing out the first time the wall didn't go through. They said it would be built, just at a later time. Boy were they wrong.

The establishment doesn't like any ripples in the water. Just don't make any disruptions and lie to the American people that they really got a good deal. Problem is, Republicans are not like Democrats. They don't believe everything they are told by the politicians.

The establishment still doesn't understand why voters turned on them and elected such a rookie like Donald Trump. They refuse to believe that the constituents are paying attention, but we are, and now that Trump realizes this, he should not make the same mistake again.

What the Republican Congress should be doing is working with Trump--not against him. Find ways to fund this wall without Piglosi's blessing. Use funds from other areas and shift them to the wall. That's what they should be working on.
