david flemming seeking middle grown on american racial history

The key word here is History. When teaching this subject, all relevant historical facts should be presented (e.g., the Emancipation Proclamation and how it became known to the enslaved people who were affected by it). However, current political movements and theories belong in a separate category, perhaps Political Science, where all points of view may be compared. The BLM movement and CRT did not exist in the 1860s and should not be taught as if they did.
