Glad to read this, and that he found peace with God before he died.

Many people do.... when the end is near. I think it is the introspection what leads many to God in their final hours. There is only the end and no future anymore. They are not busy with planning for next year and the year after but busy to look back, how they lived, what did or did not do and should have done. I saw three friends on their death beds in the hospital, they were peaceful.
