Seriously, if shit hits the fan in this country, I'm going to need someone who knows how to create and repair eye glasses.

They are coming out with new glasses that will be adjustable. They are meant to use liquid instead of glass. That being said I always buy black frames and black duck tape. Usually people don't notice that I have a good portion of duck tape on my glasses...

This is one reason why I am very happy with my Lasik surgery.

The Twilight Zone episode with Burgess Meredith, in which he is the lone survivor of a disaster who gathers up books to read and then breaks his glasses, is a NIGHTMARE!

in the old days I had to wear the buddy holly anti sex style frames,
I broke them so many times that by the time I got new ones they were about 90% black electrical tape.
