The "Paperback Non-Fiction" category of the Spiegel bestseller list has crowned first place with a brand new book: the extremely government-critical printed work with particular explosive power entitled Corona Fehlalarm? by author duo Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Karina Reiss and Prof. Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi was published in stores just a few days ago - and is already out of print almost everywhere.
The overwhelming popularity of the new medical reference book Corona Fehlalarm? had already become very clear shortly after it became known. Just a few hours after the online book community in early June learned that the renowned and popular German specialist in microbiology and infection epidemiology, Prof. Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi (73), had published his critical theses on the "Corona pandemic" in a book, the publication took almost all of the country's Internet bestseller lists by storm through advance orders alone - around three weeks before the publication date (!).
It is therefore anything but unlikely that the best-selling book, which is unpopular with politicians and the mainstream media and has been boycotted outright, will soon climb to the top of the Spiegel bestseller list and remain there for a very long time - much to the chagrin of fans of another lockdown.
And so it happened now - again only a few days later!
The mainstream media boycotts despite the outstanding and remarkable success - with one exception behind a payment barrier - simply continue to boycott. It remains to be seen if and when the editorial offices at the top of the ivory towers of the media republic will realise that they have long since lost their sovereignty of interpretation (to other media) at the expense of credibility.
