In 2008, Don Jr. told people at a New York real estate conference that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets.” Then in 2014, Eric Trump told James Dodson that, “We have all the funding we need out of Russia.” But revelations from Michael Cohen that the president was working on building Trump Tower Moscow throughout the campaign blew the lid off that lie.
