Conservative hero Tucker Carlson to take secret liberal Megyn Kelly's slot!

Yes.....he is annoying to left wing morons because he makes them look like idiots.....
He didn't make the gun control guy look like an idiot the other night. Tucker looked like the whining brat with no real argument that he is.

Yes he did.....the gun control guy lied over and over.....as Tucker asked him about Vermont and New York...watch the video again....

That was not impressive. Tucker started off by lying, claiming gun ownership was up, it is down, and he got called out on it. And Vermont, seriously? Perhaps for one of Tucker's upcoming shows he can go buy a gun in Vermont. Besides, everyone knows New York's guns come from down South, ever hear of the Iron Pipeline? And any gun runner worth a lick knows it is much easier to get a gun into Chicago than into New York, prices reflect as much.

All we have left is corporate state media attempting to shape the perceptual reality of the masses.
Well no matter what the corporate state media says, Megyn's hair looks as if she just rolled out of bed. I will NOT be influenced by that look, no matter what.
...and she's a shit eating progressive

If somebody is winning who exactly is losing? Carlson finally has a good solo gig with Fox, and Kelly has a potentially sweet gig with NBC. This wasn't some sort of political game.
What Kelly got was a daytime gig so she can now have her evenings with her 3 small children like a normal family.

Agreed. My point was that this thread seems to be celebrating some sort of victory for conservative programming. In fact both parties got exactly what they wanted. Kelly actually took less from NBC than Fox was offering to keep her so that she could spend time with her kids, and Carlson received a nice time slot. Everybody won in the end.
Technically conservatives win either way.

If Megyn Kelly goes on NBC, the network will change and not Megyn(she is already a moderate Democrat and she won't really have a reason to go further left). Tucker will push Fox a little further right as well.

Not to mention Greta possibly going to MSNBC and changing them as well....
Sounds to me like NBC is trying to moderate. Steal a bit of Fox's viewership.

I agree with ptbw that Greta may help MSNBC, but I'm not sure Kelly joining NBC will make much of a difference. NBC was always a much different animal than talking heads news channels like Fox/MSNBC/CNN.
NBC is no different than CBS and ABC, fake objectivity and gotcha politics.

They will tell Megyn to attack Bill, Sean and Tucker, and I doubt she will go through with it.

Greta will also refuse to personally attack her former colleagues.

The only Fox person they will ever turn is that bitch on CNN.

Tucker Carlson is perhaps the most annoying out of the conservative news show host. At least Hannity and O'Rielly are entertaining. Carlson is just annoying.

You're fucking dumbass moron if you believe that shit, first of all the vast majority of firearms used in violent crimes are stolen and/or come from south of the border.
Firearms used in violent crimes are not legally bought generally, they are not going to buy firearms from gun shows because they are too damn expensive for one there is not enough supple and it's much easier to steal them from other fucking criminals you fucking shitfaced moron. God no wonder people don't trust fucking progressive like yourself fucking moron to the core.:lmao:

There you go. Typical conservative response--factually incorrect, based on racism and misperceptions, includes complete nonsense statements like too expensive, and of course in interlaced with ad hominem attacks and the minimum required number of F-bombs.

Over half, which of course means the majority of guns, traced from crime scenes come back to less than one percent of federally licensed gun dealers.

Limited Sources for Guns Used in Crimes

I am willing to bet none of those dealers operate out of Vermont. And when it comes to sources of weapons used in crimes, the criminal himself will tell you that a stolen weapon is a last choice, not a first choice. A straw purchase is the best option, from one of those handful of federal firearms dealer I mentioned before.

Gun ownership is way up.....that is the truth....

Vermont, yes...when the idiot anti gunner was complaining about Chicago gangs getting guns outside of Chicago, Tucker correctly pointed out that Vermont has looser laws than Indiana and gangs from New York can get their guns from there...but for some reason New York has a lower gun murder rate even though it has a higher population......the difference between New York and Chicago...New York gangs are less prone to murder than Chicago gangs, and there are longer prison sentences for getting caught with an illegal gun in New York....

Chicago and New York have the same gun laws.....and unless they have metal detectors at the border New York is no different than Chicago for bringing guns in.....and Vermont is a lot closer than Georgia to New York...

Try again...

Criminals buy from friends and family straw buyers...making background checks useless since a straw buyer can pass a background check...no matter if it is at a gun store or through a private seller. Criminals do not trust people they don't know...so they get their baby mommas to buy their guns...and their grandmothers...which is also why prosecutors don't go after straw buyers...there is nothing to gain from jailing the baby momma....

Is gun ownership really down in America? | Fox News

Surely, gun control advocates such as GSS director Tom Smith view this decline as a good thing. In a 2003 book of mine, I quoted Smith as saying that the large drop in gun ownership would “make it easier for politicians to do the right thing on guns” and pass more restrictive regulations.

Other gun control advocates have mentioned to me that they hope that if people believe fewer people own guns, that may cause others to rethink their decision to own one themselves. It is part of the reason they dramatically exaggerate the risks of having guns in the home.

The Associated Press and Time ignored other polls by Gallup and ABC News/Washington Post.

These polls show that gun ownership rates have been flat over the same period. According to Gallup, household gun ownership has ranged from 51 percent in 1994 to 34 percent in 1999. In 2014, it was at 42 percent – comparable to the 43-45 percent figures during the 1970s.

A 2011 Gallup poll with the headline “Self-Reported Gun Ownership in U.S. Is Highest Since 1993” appears to have gotten no news coverage.

The ABC News/Washington Post poll shows an even more stable pattern, with household gun ownership between 44 and 46 percent in 1999. In 2013, the ownership rate was 43 percent.

There are other measures that suggest that we should be very careful of relying too heavily on polling to gauge the level of gun ownership. For example, the nationally number of concealed handgun permits has soared over the last decade: rising from about 2.7 million in 1999 to 4.6 million in 2007 to 11.1 million in 2014.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) shows that the number of gun purchases has grown dramatically over time –doubling from 2006 to 2014.

The "Iron Pipeline" doesn't matter......the problem is that state and federal prosecutors do not prosecute traffickers and when they do they give them light sentences......since a straw buyer can buy a gun legally, at a gun store or a gun show....it doesn't matter how you complain about the Iron Pipeline....the only time the gun is illegl is when the legal buyer sells it to a criminal...and we can catch them with regular police tactics...the problem is they don't serve enough time to discourage the dupe who buys the gun for the trafficker....

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/425452/straw-purchasing-america-needs-to-prosecute-it

Wisconsin isn’t alone in its nonchalance. California normally treats straw purchases as misdemeanors or minor infractions. Even as the people of Baltimore suffer horrific levels of violence, Maryland classifies the crime as a misdemeanor, too. Straw buying is a felony in progressive Connecticut, albeit one in the second-least-serious order of felonies. It is classified as a serious crime in Illinois (Class 2 felony), but police rarely (meaning “almost never”) go after the nephews and girlfriends with clean records who provide Chicago’s diverse and sundry gangsters with their weapons. In Delaware, it’s a Class F felony, like forging a check. In Oregon, it’s a misdemeanor.

--------

I visited Chicago a few years back to write about the city’s gang-driven murder problem, and a retired police official told me that the nature of the people making straw purchases — young relatives, girlfriends who may or may not have been facing the threat of physical violence, grandmothers, etc. — made prosecuting those cases unattractive.

In most of those cases, the authorities emphatically should put the straw purchasers in prison for as long as possible.

Throw a few gangsters’ grandmothers behind bars for 20 years and see if that gets anybody’s attention. In the case of the young women suborned into breaking the law, that should be just another charge to put on the main offender.

Most firearms come from south of the border that criminals buy and sell, them being untraceable unlike those at stores, gun shows and exhibitions.
