Congressional Committee Approves Military Reenlistment Waivers For Marijuana Use
Members of the military can be barred from reenlisting if they admit to having used marijuana—even in a state where it’s legal—but a congressional committee approved an amendment on Wednesday that would provide a little bit of leeway for affected service members.

Yeah imagine that one they must be getting really hard up first the trans, lol thank gawd that

Well, the title is kinda misleading, because if you are on active duty and get caught using marijuana, you are kicked out immediately.

This proposal covers military members who got out and became a civilian again, used marijuana once while as a civilian, and then wants to come back into the service.

Actually, this is just an extension of the waivers that they were giving to initial enlistees who had smoked prior to enlisting. This one covers those who got out, became civilians and now want back in.
