Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions attends a confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee to become the next US attorney general.
Meanwhile fellow Senator Cory Booker plans to testify against Sessions’ confirmation.
“This would be the first time in Senate history that a sitting senator will testify against another sitting senator for a Cabinet post during a confirmation,” reports CNN.
