Comcast fires 10 year employee for being in Proud Boys

It means the violent parasites in Antifa will get to terrorize people in Portland and Seattle without any check on their presence as they assault cops and citizens. I guess for someone like you that's a great thing.
Sort of like cheering on the Brown Shirts in pre war Berlin. That's how you roll, apparently.
The only thing Antifa terrorizes are lice heads like you.
Funny, in a stupid and witless sort of way.
Says the vapid proud boy supporter
Says the witless dick.
Says the dickless dimwit.
Yeah, says the guy so mentally impoverished he can't even insult with an original thought. You go on ignore, fool.

I love it when I force you to put me on ignore. It lets me know I have emotionally traumatized your chimp like brain.

I think the NAACP is a hate group and so is the democrat party since both hate white people and support affirmative action - denying jobs to whites just for being white. Can i fire employees for being in those groups?

nov 14 2018 Comcast on Wednesday fired Andrew Kovalic, a 10-year employee who earlier this week became the target of a viral petition alleging that he is a member of a hate group.

The petition that called for Kovalic’s termination, which had garnered 373 signatures by Wednesday morning, was created and sponsored by the Philadelphia-based nonprofit Media Mobilizing Project, which often scrutinizes media and telecommunications companies like Comcast.

The now-former Comcast employee, the petition alleges, is a member of the Harrisburg Proud Boys chapter. The petition also alleges that Kovalic will work as a member of security at Saturday’s rally — which, the petition argues, is sufficient grounds for firing him.

In a statement to Philadelphia magazine, Comcast said, “There’s no place for disrespectful, offensive behavior in our culture. The individual is no longer employed by Comcast.”

When asked how Comcast made its determination to fire Kovalic and what specific behavior led to the company’s decision, a spokesperson said they could not comment on the situation beyond the statement.
That is Comcasts right in a FREE society. You should be allowed to hire & fire whomever you want whenever you want for any reason you want.

I agree, however, I don’t believe Pennsylvania is a Right to Work state, so he may have a lawsuit should he sue

Good. Hopefully somebody beats his ass, too.
Proud Boys dont get their asses beat.
Proud Boys are the ones doing the ass beating.

And that might be the answer to why he was fired.

That's fine, but if employers are going to act like that then don't expect a 2 week notice when I quit. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Theres nothing in law that says you are required to give a two weeks notice.

Absolutely agree. You're reputation as an employee will hold you accountable just as any dick moves by a business can be easily held against them.

The free market will almost always iron out injustices now thanks to social media.
