After declaring Trump could not run on the Colorado ballot for President because they declared him an insurrectionist, the Colorado Supreme Court has also ruled that the other 4 candidates in the GOP will also be ineligible to run as well.
They began with Chris Christy, citing that he was far too fat to run, referring him to Jaba the Hun. As large as he is, the Supreme court determined he was far too much an intimidating figure to elect. If elected, democracy would be thwarted due to the fear of the sheer size of his being. "What if you upset him and he had a heart attack and fell on you? Not even the jaws of life could save you at that point", argued the court.
Vivek Ramaswamy was next on the chopping block, as the court referred him to as "mini me", or the mini' Trump. "How can we allow a candidate who says that Trump is a better candidate than even he is when we have already banned that candidate?" argued the justices? "In fact, why would a candidate run at all who says that the person he is running against is better than he?" Bizarre.
As for Niki Haley, the Court cited Ramaswamy holding up a sign stating Niki was corrupt during the last Presidential debate. "How can we let a corrupt candidate be allowed to remain on the ballot when corruption, like insurrection, is illegal?" they exclaimed.
And least, but not last, Ron DeSantis was also taken off the ballot. The court cited Trump calling him Ron "Sanctimonious". The Court quickly did a wiki search into the meaning of the never before heard term and realized sanctimonious meant, someone truly holy or pious. "How can we have a holy man defy the separation of church and state?," argued the court, but this time saying it in unison, as if they were all one person.
The court ended by saying in unison once more, "As we know, of all the candidates, Ron DeSantis is the biggest threat since Christian Nationalism is the biggest threat to all life in the known universe." Luckily, we have the Colorado Supreme Court to save us all from such a fate.
And to think we were that close to losing democracy.
Chilling.
