Clinton Supporters Gather at Ready for Hillary Rally NBC New York

Local politicians and Democratic supporters are holding a "Ready for Hillary" rally in anticipation of Hillary Rodham Clinton's expected presidential campaign launch this weekend.

U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney and Manhattan Borough President Gail Brewer are among those who plan to attend the rally which will take place Saturday in Manhattan.

Discuss. Why is the lettering on those bands orange instead of blue? Is Hillary in cahoots with John Boehner? Is this the end of the world?!?!?

Well, good idea to have it in Manhattan where she will get strong support. I'm not going to vote for her. This whole Twitter announcement is just too coy. Silly, really. It's likely she'll keep weak (“Reagan”) democrats at home, and attract a good number of moderate to liberal independents – the voters Bush or Walker will need to breach the Blue Wall.

It's a long way to November 2016, nothing's 'inevitable,' HRC could very well screw up and lose it all.

But republicans aren't going to be able to beat her with just Benghazi, emails, and Monica – they'll need a candidate and platform that will attract a good number of democrats and independents from HRC, and at this point in time the GOP is nowhere near that stage.
