I had a 1969 GTO midnight green with a parchment vinyl roof. It had a Ram Air III 400 ci engine with a TH 400 automatic transmission and 3.23 gears. It was an air conditioned car with power steering power brakes and electric windows, It also had an AM -FM radio with a rear speaker nice car. It got 17 mpg on the highway but only 10 in town. The good old days.

My 1972 Goat (GTO). metalic blue, wide tires, scoop on the hood. Loved that thing. Ma said "if you can drive it out of the garage, you can have it". She bought it from a friend of hers and just had it painted and overhauled. It was a stick shift, which I had never driven before. But I backed that sucker out, and hiccupped all the way down the street. She was MINE.

Maybe it was a 1974? Hell, I can't remember! But it looked like this:

I also miss my '65 Riviera. Looked like this, but it was black vinyl roof and white body.

I miss muscle cars. Those things were tough..not like the tin cans nowadays.

I used to own numerous classics, at one time I had 30. I've sold most of them now but a few of my favorites that I wish I had back...

The car that transported me throughout my teenage years was a '62 VW Beetle. Not a hotrod, but that old girl took me everywhere I wanted to go.

One winter we were partying at a friend's cabin up on the river. We got some sleet and teh roads were slick. None of the hotrods could make it up the hill. Even the redneck hotrods (lifted 4x4 trucks and Jeeps) couldn't get up the hill. My old red VW eased up the hill.

My baby was a 1970 Chevy Nova SS with a 396 bored out to a 427, 4 on the floor Holley 4bbl. and a glass pack dual exhaust.

She was a beast

Have owned several '50s MGs of various models and '59 - '63 VW Beetles. Currently just have a '62 VW 1200, but locally we have a huge MG owners get together every summer and I'll be looking to buy if something strikes my fancy.

Is a 1972 h2 Kawasaki 750 road bike, the fastest thing I have ever owned.

I had several... NOTE - these images are NOT the actual cars I had...but very close I went through a lot of photos to find one that was the closest.

1966 Ford Fairlane...also my first car.

1982 Trans AM T-Top...my least favorite muscle car I owned. Was really a pretend muscle car.

1981 Ford Mustang GT...was a blast to drive. Blew the freakin' doors off the Trans Am...no comparison...definitely the "funnest" car I ever owned..

I had a '65 Mustang fastback in BRG. It wasn't a Shelby but it had a lot of the GT 350 mods on it. I think it got about 9 MPG.

The fastest and most unreliable car I ever owned.

It was my first car. A 1966 Chrysler Newport Custom. My 6' frame could almost stretch out in the front seat. It had a four barrel carb, don't remember the engine size but it got maybe 10 miles per. Not a speed demon but if you brought the land yacht up to speed she would keep climbing, floating along until you ran out of balls or gas.

Reminds me of the 2nd car I owned. My Dad picked it out for me...1970 Olds Delta 88. Had a 4 Bar 455 engine. It would go from 0 to 60 in eight minutes. :D...but the top speed was mind numbing. I never got the balls to top it out. It was the first car I broke 100mph in and I lost my balls to keep going.
But like your land yacht - it had a back seat that was practically a king size bed...which got plenty of use. :dev3:
