The Arabs initiated the War by blocking the Straits and Syria shooting at Israelis from the Golan Heights. Too bad the Arabs refused to recognize those " borders" and wage War.Israel will not go back to them now

Palestine was never a state nor even a people till after the brits left. Many so called palestinians had been there only a few years, coming for better paying jobs, from surrounding countries. Most had owned no land or had sold their land at many times over the value. Even Arafat's family sold their land to jews willing to pay and develop the land. Most of the major families did. So did churches. Much of the rest was public land that became Israeli when it became a state, not private palestinian owned.
Israel had reunification programs for the refugee to return and courts were open over land disputes, much of which wa in favor of palestinians.
They could have returned, paid taxes and developed their land if they had deeds filed in ottoman or british land authorities.
They had ten years to return. Palestinian leadership would not let them or they did not want to become Israeli.

There ere lots of chances. Israel was open to negotiations, but palestinians would not recognize Israel or make any compromises for Israel's security.

Israel was attacked time and again, to wipe them out. Israel in the first two major wars were highly out maned and out equipped, but still managed to beat back several countries at the same time on all fronts.

Palestinians are not equipped to run a state on their own and the world is fed up with wasting money on them. They palestinians can't even unite as a people let alone a state. They have not recognized authority to negotiate with Israel that all be accepted. They are brainwashing their children to kill with rocks, fire, knives, bombs, mortars and rockets or even cars. They are not taught to accept a two state in peace with Israel.

Israel has gone to the table time and again and made very generous offers, but palestinians would not agree. Israel has given land for the sake of peace and been attacked for doing so by the palestinians.

Palestinians want all the land and no jews at all. They want to water the land with jewish blood. Every other options has been rejected by the palestinians. Every rejection has left the palestinians with fewer concessions from Israel, not more. Palestinians could have stayed, as almost half did. They could have had their state in the WB and G if they would have lived in peace. The might even have shared Jerusalem fifteen years ago. Instead they opted for violence. They still do today.

Arab muslims are allowed to live in Israel with the jews, but palestinians want no jews living with them in the WB or G. Which one is the racist? Which one is tech ing hate and violence?

Israel wants peace and too many palestinian leaders are preaching violence and sending kids to their death for no reason but to see Israelis bleed.
