The National Education Association is second, followed by the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. Then the Farr Group, an executive search consulting firm. The Carpenters Union and the American Federation of Teachers round out the top six groups for political contributors, all of which gave nearly every dime to Democrats. In fact, eight of the top ten, and 18 out of the top 25 are Democratic donors.

WE are destroying our political process.

By voting for those who, in turn, voted to empower Citizens United, and such.

Time to look in the mirror, talk amongst our selves, and vote only for those committed to reversing the situation.

Otherwise, it will never change.

The lack of awareness of Citizen's United is the problem.

Well more than that - here is a reality that liberals aren't bright enough to realize:

If a business is not a person - then you cannot regulate them. You cannot create laws for them. You cannot restrict them in any capacity. Because only people can understand law and adhere to them. An inanimate object (say scissors) are completely incapable of knowing a law exists or adhering to it.

Furthermore more - if corporations are going to be subjected to the results of the political system (and they are) then they have every right to participate in the political system including campaign donations, etc.
