Though Rick Perry’s lack of campaign dollars received the most attention this week, whispers are now circulating of a possible second GOP candidate giving serious consideration to dropping out of the race by the end of this month – New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Paul took the position the government’s surveillance powers were significantly over-extended while Christie implied the senator’s views were dangerously ignorant and little more than “hot air.” Days after the confrontation between the two men it appears more voters are taking Senator Paul’s position over Christie’s as the New Jersey governor’s poll numbers continue to be stuck...

Christie is damaged goods, the Obama hug doomed him plus he has very liberal positions on key issues including gun control.

I think Christie is also the victim of handlers. Go watch some Christie video from 3-4 years ago, he was the spitting image of Trump. He clobbered the lowlife scum MSM in interviews, he clobbered the teachers unions, he clobbered the Democrats in NJ. He told them all to shove PC up their ass AND he was quite popular for doing so. Now he seems docile.

The Hug Of Death. I knew it would come back to bite him in his big fat ass.

A hug wouldn't be so bad, BUT......

I heard some Gop superpacs stepped up to rescue PErry for awhile....that'll impact other candidates but not Trump.....

Christie hugs the president for getting financial relief for his state and Clinton refuses to use the government server, (WHY, HILLARY? ) refuses to hand over emails, but deletes them instead, (WHY, HILLARY? WHY?), then to be sure they are completely gone, hires a company to wipe the server clean (OH, WHY HILLARY, WHY?) and she is the top candidate for the Democrats! (WHY PEOPLE, WHY?)

They "pussified" him and that hurt him. They built the wrong model for 2016.

Here's a guy basing his electoral decisions on whether a candidate gets too physically close to a black guy. And then he votes.

No wonder we're so fucked up.

I tend to think the reason we are so screwed up is more the fact that people don't listen to each other and then construct straw men to attack others as you just did.

It's not to early to thin the heard either. Given his lack luster approach there is not to much to divide up. What 1.3%?
As the herd is thinned others numbers will rise and at this point cross party numbers mean squat.

Wait until it gets down to three Republicans VS three Democrats before anything solid starts to appear.

It's not the color of the person he was hugging you racist. It was what that man stands for. BIGOT.

Christies appeal comes from yelling at a reporter, one time.

Other than that he's a Liberal who hugged Obama and "9-11 victims".

Perry's history, so are Christie, Paul, and Graham. Bush is too but Fox keeps propping him back up like a f-ing scarecrow. He's what, 3%, something like that, yet they still treat him like he's the front runner. What BS.

Yeah, there is no doubt Fox wants Bush like CNN wants Hillary.
Trump AND Sanders could well be the spoilers.
