New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appeared on CNBCs Sqwuak Box Tuesday morning and warned against GOP candidates getting bogged down by social issues. To demonstrate how one does not get bogged down, he answered a question as to whether the Supreme Court had correctly ruled in the so-called Hobby Lobby case yesterday by saying, Who knows?
When youre an executive, your Supreme Court makes a ruling and you gotta live with it unless you can get the legislative body to change the law or change the constitution, Christie said.
Why should I give an opinion on whether theyre right or wrong? At the end of the day they did what they did. Thats now the law of the land unless people in the elected branches try to change it. This is the way you get bogged down in those things.
Is he even trying anymore? How does he think he has a path to the GOP 2016 nomination?
