Both my parents are full blooded Vietnamese.
But some people say I look Chinese, and not Vietnamese at all.

I used to joke:
Maybe my momma had a Chinese mailman?
Who hung around the house a little too much?

And my Vietnamese friends would laugh, because
they know Vietnamese and Chinese look totally different,
so this is ridiculous.

And my American friends laugh, because
"all Asians look the same anyway"
so this is funny to them!

And I laugh, because I can tell from their reaction,
they are laughing for different reasons.
So this is even funnier!
