Everywhere will be the land of Covid. No one can escape R8: 8 people catch it from each person who has it, on average. A population cannot escape that and never has. That's why all the places that held it off earlier are now crashing into epidemic: Australia, Japan. Florida.

Smallpox was probably higher in transmission, and also a LOT more lethal (1/3 to 1/2 dead of those who caught it). But that vaccine actually worked: that's how they made it extinct. These new vaccines are terrible, like the worthless flu vaccines. They needed more years, maybe decades. That's the norm, after all. If they can do it at all! They still don't have an RNA vaccine for HIV -- why did they suppose they could make one for Covid?

The disease would naturally evolve to be more transmissible and evade the vaccine: life will find a way to spread as far as it can. I don't see that becoming more lethal would help it in any way. Sometimes diseases do that, maybe by chance, but usually they get milder so we can carry them around and infect more people. I hope it doesn't get more lethal.

It is disappointing to read that such a large percentage of that Provincetown group were fully vaccinated. The stats are the same in the Israeli study. This is why America is panicking this week --- because people are not damn fools. So the Delta mutation is three times as contagious, from R2.5 to R8, same as chickenpox and there is no higher in existence currently, I just read, except measles (R17). No one can escape R8, and no one has. I remember when everyone expected to catch all those diseases: chickenpox, mumps, measles, whooping cough. And everyone did.

So the mutation worked to become more transmissible and also to escape the vaccine --------- if the two studies are correct about the percentages, isn't that clear? I know the government lie-tellers are trying to backtrack that now, but if 74% in both studies who caught COVID were vaccinated, I'd say the Delta variant did escape the vaccine! Anybody got another plausible explanation for that?

I'll buy that being vaccinated lessens severity of the illness, as they are saying in a last-ditch attempt to get us to vaccinate, at least till I hear that too is a lie.
