There is only one trade deal awaiting the House- USMCA- and the House is working on that faster than the Senate is working on anything.

What happened to them? Well, they lost their backbone thru a miscalculation. They are worried about maintaining power and that means maintaining a large voting base. They jumped the gun on thinking that they could dump their old core of working class Americans and replace them with a cobbled together coalition of varied minority groups who had no common interest when it came to voting. They took their backbone of Working class Americans and demonized them. They placed all the ills of the world and nation at those people's feet when they referred to them as bitter clingers and a basket of deplorables. The hope was that they could take all the women, African Americans, Hispanics, Gay people, vegans, etc. and present the working class as someone that only the Democratic party could protect them from. They used the plantation mentality. The world is a bad place and if you'll vote for us, we will protect you and provide for you. You are doomed without us. The problem is, even though many of those people liked what they heard in the pandering to their particular niche group, they were at odds with the pandering done to the other niche groups they had nothing in common with. The old faithful Democrats who had been shit on by their party decided to repay the kindness with a middle finger for walking away from them and all they had done for the party and became independents and Republicans. They voted for Trump and proved to the Democrats that they shot themselves in the foot. They've never accepted this and have spent the last 3+ years trying to overturn the election out of anger. That's what happened to the Democrats. I know. because I was one for 35 years until they tossed me aside.
