He's talking about Australia, and how they should handle the U.S. seceding from the west.

I believe the DoD spends too much money on air power, naval power, nuclear weapons development, and too little on numerically increasing our ground forces. If we engage China or North Korea in ground warfare the superior number of their ground forces would force us to use nuclear weapons, which would bring about an Armageddon.

If the draft were active we would have a pool of millions of trained soldiers within the civilian ranks who could be called up and re-activated within two or three weeks rather than the months it takes to train raw recruits. This would enable us to adequately contend with presently superior numbers of enemy ground troops.

The draft should be re-activated. It is necessary to do so. The only reason it hasn't happened is our political leadership is afraid to propose doing that because of the angry resistance it would generate.

I'm hoping Trump will do it.
