It’s always entertaining to see diametrically opposing leftist movements collide with one another. Now we have the environmental groups squaring off against the homeless advocacy groups, as California’s homeless crisis is leading to mass contamination of the rivers and streams. Rather than going through sewage treatment, human waste from the homeless is ending up directly in the water ways.

Everyone with a brain recognizes the underlying cause of California homelessness, lack of affordable housing.

How do hedge funds contribute to that problem?

The Fed Protects Gamblers at the Expense of the Economy

"Hedge funds have been blamed for the 2008 financial crisis, by adding too much risk to the banking system.

"They have destroyed companies by forcing stock buybacks, asset sales, layoffs and other measures that raise stock prices at the expense of the company’s long-term health and productivity.

"They have also been a major factor in the homelessness epidemic, by buying foreclosed properties at fire sale prices, then renting them out at inflated prices.

Affordable housing does not help someone unwilling or unable to pay rent.

You realize that if this virus gets into any of these homeless meccas it will be an uncontrollable disaster.

Enforcing laws against camping would end the homeless problem in one night.

CA is the only State with hedge funds!

I did not know that

California real estate is expensive because it has a population of 40 million people and as population increases there is a higher demand for land, it's as simple as that.

The plague is around the corner people. First there will be typhoid and different strands of hepatitis.

Don't worry though, cause hollywood limousine liberals are now vegan and so that means the end of cow flatulence because those people....are no longer eating cows? Yes that makes sense to them.

The less cows we eat, the less cow flatulence.

The problem with Los Angeles, it's a liberal shithole. When republicans ran California it was a great state.

Trump erodes water protections: 6 things to know

Much more complicated than your "orange man bad" mind can comprehend here. Feds and O admin claimed all water is connected underground there fore theirs. Even a puddle. I have a dug out stock pond, they claim it is theirs. Ask farmers what they think of it.

Water pollution can be controlled in many ways other than imminent domain, an all encompassing rule was not the answer. "All water is ours, the feds" is WHAT POTUS got rid of.

Get better treatment plants. Get the filth off the streets and stop them from shitting there. I can remember in the 80's there were warnings not to swim off SD beaches because of fecal pollution. From mehico and over flowing treatment plants on both sides. Worry about that, not taking my stock pond under imminent domain, or taking control.

Trump issues new rule replacing Obama-era waterway protections

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a major rollback to protections for streams and other smaller bodies of water on Thursday, saying it would institute a new rule advocated by farmers and other industry groups.

The new rule would replace the already-repealed Waters of the United States rule (WOTUS), crafted under President Obama, which expanded the types of waterways protected by federal law.

But President Trump touted his plans to roll back the law when speaking over the weekend to a conference of farmers‚ one of the chief adversaries of the previous administration's policy and a key part of Trump’s base.

Farmers and other groups have argued that law was too far-reaching, requiring grand efforts to protect relatively small bodies of water that run through their property, ultimately subjecting large swaths of land to federal oversight.

“As long as I’m president, government will never micromanage America’s farmers,” he told the crowd.
