only to find the laws made the problems worse. Way to go California, a state which always passes laws to stop wealth inequality, homelessness, and social injustice, only to find that everything they do makes the problems even worse. And, they want to do for the country everything they have done for California. No thanks.

New York banned them a couple years ago.

Not a real big deal and folks don’t miss them hanging from trees

We use reusable plastic sacks, cotton sacks, and yes a few paper bags

Not a problem

Pretty funny really.

I remember when they banned paper bags to save the trees as plastic was cheaper and could be recycled.

Just that there is now far more plastic than anyone wants and most doesn't get recycled anyway and recycled plastic is crappy too.

So back to the paper bags except now, we have far fewer trees than 40 years ago to make them from!

How can that be? We saved the trees by not using paper bags anymore.

.

What took them so long? WA state banned plastic bags 8 or 10 years ago.
