He's also too partisan to understand that it was the Republicans who put that budget together.

Wealth distribution always ends up the same way, a tangled mess of unsustainable debt fueled by government and bureaucratic waste.
The report says that the state’s negative status increased that year, largely because it spent $1.7 billion more than it received in revenues and wound up with an accumulated deficit of just under $23 billion in fiscal year 2011-2012, the Sacramento Bee stated.
Gov. Jerry Brown has referred to the deficit and other budget gaps, mostly money owed to schools, as a “wall of debt” totaling more than $30 billion, the Sacramento Bee reported.
California in the red by $127.2 billion, state auditors say
The proposed solution will, of course, be predictable. Raise more taxes!
If middle class workers were making a livable wage there wouldn't be a deficit.
What's the income range that makes up "middle class"?

Anyone in 2015 that made less than $309,900 filing jointly is middle class?
The middle class is 97% of the population?
It's rapidly going the way of other miserable Communist/Socialist failures like Venezuela. How long before it starts demanding a Bailout? Personally, i won't support giving it a penny of Federal money. Its 'Sanctuary' policies are despicable. California shouldn't receive Federal funds at all. Period, end of story.

California beats Canada for GDP and population. They must be doing something right.
Winston Churchill nailed Communism/Socialism Spot On many years ago...
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

It'll be demanding a Bailout at some point. It's a sad catastrophe. And i will not support bailing it out with Federal money.

The majority of red States have received federal bailouts for decades. Why don't you include them in your diatribe?

It is and it is already been passed by the voters:
"Last November, voters passed an increase in sales and income taxes that Brown says will balance the state's operating budget and allow the debt wall to be gradually dismantled."

Anywhere else and this story might have a tragic ending but when you have one of the leading economies in the world it does make the task a bit easier.

You must have actually read the Sacrament Bee story! Shame on YOU. No false news allowed! Only real news from REAL jounalists like the Wash Times. It appears most of the debt was from the state issuing bonds that were used to build school buildings and the "ilk" that are now carried on the books of local govt, with the state showing the liability. And the voters approved a tax hike to remove that liability and return the state to the black (s and browns and Asian and OTHER NOT AMERICAN types)How did that happen I thought just a month ago you guys were in the black, minus like a half a trillion in unfunded pensions?

Why? We paid our federal tax? Is that mean we can also stop paying federal taxes?
