Cain to Letterman: ‘All of these women are lying'

I only wish the Campaigner-in-Chief had been vetted as much as these republican candidates. Oh<snap> no one has access to his sealed records. Those that know more realize they'll be found in an alley somewhere in Chicago's South side if they dare open their mouths.

I suspect we'll never know who is lying but no matter, the desired damage is done and Democrats can rejoice..fairly or unfairly..

Why would Democrats rejoice? As a potential presidential candidate, Herman Cain would be - to use boxing parlance - a tomato can.

Cain getting knocked out of the race just makes the way easier for Mitt Romney, who happens to be the only potential legitimate competition to Obama in the field.

They think we fear their candidates. :eusa_eh:

NEW YORK — Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain says "all of these women are lying" about unwanted sexual advances.

In appearance on David Letterman’s "Late Show" airing Friday night, the former pizza executive is again denying any impropriety during his time running the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s

:eusa_hand:

The one who stepped up to be named and counted seems to have no credibility.

The other three are anonymous. Prior "suits" or threatened lawsuits, even when coupled with "settlements" from the Association do not establish that they were being honest.

Thus, it is quite possible that Mr. Cain is telling the truth. It is entirely possible that each one of them IS lying.

One may doubt Mr. Cain for ANY reason. But there's still no credible evidence that he ever engaged in ANY sexual harassment.

But we HAVE learned one thing. An orchestrated smear campaign can still work.

I consider that pretty bad news.

Right...they are all lying...and their corroborating witnesses are lying too...and any women who come forward in the future are lying as well.

And people wonder why sexual harassment isn't reported more often...

Perhaps the media can pursue the rumors of Obama's gay lovers and excessive cocaine use with the same vigor, they carry as much weight and lack of hard evidence..

People aren't as ready to believe these things about Obama. It's all about perception.

Cain came back with some very stupid responses. Does anyone really want a presidential candidate who can't speak clearly and who can't think on their feet?

Perception?? Obama doesn't comment on any claims people make against him, except maybe when he made the claim he hadn't heard any anti-american talk and radical preaching from the preacher he listened to for 20 years, and all of you believed him!! He's never commented on any other accusations that i know of. You won't hear him comment on a gay lover or cocaine use because the media won't talk about it and force him to talk.

The only time he talked about his birth certificate is when he displayed the one that has been proven to be fake....and you all believe him. And that happened JUST before the Seals took out Bin Laden. Pretty convenient....he knew the BL killing would take all the attention away from the BC issue, that's why he did it when he did. Any time there's something negative that he want's to cover up, you can be sure something big is going to happen to turn everyone's attention away from what he's doing.

Seriously it depends on who is being smeared. Funny how this took center stage with the MSM while Holder and Chu were testifying in Congress. :cuckoo:

More then proving the tabloid mentality of the left.

Sometimes it boggles the mind on why so many democrats will accept anything but liberty.

Whoa, funny how we were thinking almost the same thing. Anything to divert negative attention away from the Campaigner-in-Chief.:eusa_whistle:

You mean another one? Cuz we had Bush, then we had Obama. Both qualify as 'can't speak clearly and can't think on their feet'?

Simple fact is that no one - absolutely no one - can speak off script for any length of time without saying something stupid. We have a ridiculous standard, and now, apparently, we don't even need proof. We'll hang someone on something that might have happened.

You're right. It is about perception. But... perception is not reality. Personally, I don't mind having a politician with feet of clay.... if he's honorable. The real pity of 21st century America is that we couldn't give a shit about honor, as long as you say the right thing.

No. They don't. You are flatly wrong.

And even if they did, the Association could not "imply" guilt for Mr. Cain who was NOT a party to the settlements.

But other than being entirely wrong, that was a really good post you just offered.

:doubt:

Corroborating witnesses?

LOL!

Yeah. 'Cuz the guy accused of such inappropriate behavior made sure that his "victims" had witnesses there to "see" what was goin' on.

You moron.

Cain's really shown himself to be an empty-headed know nothing. 9-9-9 has been debunked. And that Libya screw-up has shown his "intelligence" is a facade. I feel sorry for the people who may be contributed to his black hole of a campaign.
