Cain: 'If You Don't Have A Job And You're Not Rich, Blame Yourself'

You want to keep the politicians from going to the money. I prefer to keep the money from going to the politicians. What a pissing match we could have, eh!

The part where you get screwed is here: "Corporations only act to improve growth and profit. That's it."

Very true...........and the very reason why they cannot be entrusted with captaining our ship. They'll take a short-cut and run us aground. When we look for them, we'll find they
made off with the loot and left us with ziltch.

Keep money from going to politicians...again with the magic beans! Gosh I wish you'd share...

Corporations aren't 'captaining' anything other than their own operations. They can only gain control beyond a rightly earned market share when they have crony politicians on their side. Anyone, any entity, that "makes off with the loot" has broken the law and is subject to criminal and civil action...unless of course regulations, written by the big government guys you love so much, protects them from lawsuits or prosecution.

Stop living in a fairy tale. When you give Washington power beyond the scope of the Constitution, money will find its way to the politicians most willing to accommodate big business.

Cain made his money on the backs and sweat of others!

You mean you didn't pay:

Your dry cleaner
Your daycare worker
Your waitress at IHOP
Your cashier at Krogers
Your pharmacist at CVS
Your salesman at the auto dealer
Your sandwich maker ar Subway
Your pimp after your nightly escapades
Etc, Etc, Etc....

You ungrateful little fucker, you...

I read that post.... who thinks this way? Seriously, who is so jaded, so twisted that they honestly believe that anyone who has five cents more than they, somehow got there by screwing his fellow man?

Those "others" had a job because of Cain. Now let them work their way to the top, too.

You must understand the "New America".... 50% work hard, the new Illuminati in D.C. confiscate 90% of what they generate and then distribute it to the remaining 50%.

Yeah, now there's a plan that will play out indefinitely.

The uninformed think that way... Those who let (and expect) others to think for them think that way...

Since your a welfare stated hand-me-out socialist of course you don't understand what Cain is saying. Cain doesn't believe that Banks are blameless, but he sees these ignorant little children protesting infront of Wall Street demanding no trade with other nations, $20 minimum wage, Free Health Clinics in every city etc. Basically they are protesting to get a Bolshevic revolution in America! He is calling a spade a spade. Just as when any of us call you a clueless mental midget!

Herman Cain, the new darling of the right, seems to think that the big banks and Wall St are beyond reproach when it comes to the poor economy and lack of jobs in the US. He also has a wild conspiracy theory that the Occupy Wall St protests are being staged by the left to draw attention away from Obama. On top of calling gays 'godless' in 2004, this latest gust of wind from the pizzaman-turned-presidential-candidate ought to solidify his standing among the far-right. Unfortunately, most Americans don't share his opinion that the big banks are good guys (not that he'll get the nomination).

Herman Cain On Occupy Wall Street: 'If You Don't Have A Job And You're Not Rich, Blame Yourself' (VIDEO)

Asked by the Journal's Alan Murray about his thoughts on the demonstrations, which initially began in New York City and have since spread around the country, Cain responded:

"I don't have facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama administration. Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks, if you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself! ... It is not a person's fault if they succeeded, it is a person's fault if they failed."

Cain went on to admit that the banks had something to do with the economic crisis of 2008, but pointed out that it was now 2011, seemingly downplaying any lasting effects of the practices of big banks and Wall Street.

Herein lies the great irony of the OWS crowd... their masters, owned part and parcel by the money masters, have them participating in "feel good" showings of demonstrations against said money masters so as to convince the colossally stupid that what is going on, really isn't going on.

It don't get any better than that folks.

What a deeply disturbing way to spend one's life...

The wealth gap is way more than 5 cents so I see why you are confused

If you're rich and do have a job you're wasting your life for money.

I'm in the top 1% (at the bottom of that range but still...) and I LOVE what I do for a living. I don't care if I had a billion in the bank, I'd still work everyday because I was raised with a strong work ethic and I enjoy my work. That is the case now that I'm a CEO and it was the case when I was busing tables at 13 years old.

Ditto.

I'm not rich but I work for a living. Have always worked and don't depend on anyone to give me anything. I make it happen in my life not someone else. Thats how I roll.

Thats the difference between folks like you and me and that gimme, gimme, gimme crowd on Wall St.

They DO Expect someone to give it to em.

he never said the big banks were good guys. not once

He sure didn't.

And the only logical reason to deduce that he views them as good guys is to believe that:

Not being at fault = Not being a bad guy

Since he did in fact state "Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks... It is not a person's fault if they succeeded"

and from there you'd need to make the crazy intellectual leap that:

Not being a bad guy = good guy

And that's at least as difficult a leap as stepping over a match box

I'm beginning to think we should change the Constitution. Instead of place of birth granting you citizenship, we might consider intelligence tests.

Personal responsibility scares the crap out of the lefties. In case you didn't catch it, Cain was saying you're responsible for what you are in life. You work hard, make good choices, work harder, put some away, work harder, give some to the kids and grandkids, start a little business of your own so when you reach retirement, you can slow down and enjoy the fruits of your labor, not give it to the government!!!

But I thought it was Obamas fault that people dont have jobs? Silly righties cant keep their stories straight. The reason the unemployment is at 9% is because ppl refuse to move around like gypsies

But I thought it was Obamas fault that people dont have jobs?

Only partially correct. It was Obama along with a long line of central planners and their buddies at the Fed that cause these boom and bust cycles and devaluation of the dollar. Unemployment is an inevitable byproduct of those meddling strategies.

Oh the housing bubble burst, there was a huge explosion. Didn't you notice?? Now tell me how that happened??

Next tell me exactly what 0bama has done to make it better?? It's really hard to blow up a burst balloon, so it would make sense to get different one.

You cannot spend your way out of debt, ever. It's only a patch on that balloon, eventually it'll flatten out again.

Most people have a rainy day fund, well the drought has taken it's toll on mine but if this group would get out of the way, I know I can rebuild it. ;)
