By denying healthcare to millions of Americans, GOP is playing with "FIRE"

After this disaster, single payer will be impossible. This major catastrophe will be trotted out for the next hundred years as an example of government efficiency.

The GOP has made so much about the federal website only registering 50,000 people, but the state exchanges are a different story.

In just California, 227,000 registered, 2.6 million have viewed the site, 226,000 have called by phone. People are checking it out.

Guv's former spokeswoman censures Utah's Mike Lee over Obamacare | The Salt Lake Tribune

In an open letter to Lee published Tuesday on the online political newsletter utahpolicy.com, Welling takes the senator and "his ilk" to task for acting like "schoolyard bullies" and their "Stop Obamacare at All Costs mantra," which she says "is hurting real people" like her mom.

A cancer survivor and long-time member of the working class, Welling’s mom, Beckie Clarkson, has been uninsured off and on over the past 16 years, because her cancer, or pre-existing condition, has prevented her from obtaining comprehensive coverage.

What happens when letters like the above start trickling out? Talk about "trickle down".

Republicans are already denying millions of Americans health care in Red States. Their only care is going to the Emergency room at many times the cost.

So how will this hurt Republicans?

Their approval rating in congress is at 9%

Emergency room visits are paid for by the local taxpayers, meaning the GOP base in Red States.

Hospitals don't get Medicare money meaning costs will skyrocket.

People will see those in Blue States getting health care.

Republicans may be laughing now, but will they have the last laugh or is their final last big screw over of the American people?

If anyone wants to know what a disaster Obamacare is, rdean is blaming the Republicans for it instead of pointing out what a great job Obama did in getting health insurance, not health care, for everyone.

The website debacle is merely a distraction, and is of little importance.

Nobody is "denying healthcare to millions" and anyone who would even use such an expression is an idiot.

All rdean posts are written by a team of idiots.

Once again, the morons come running out and literally screaming "liar" with nothing, and I repeat, nothing to support their claims.

You can check out here where the states stand on health care and there is an interactive map to see how many are denied.

Where the states stand on Medicaid expansion | The Advisory Board Daily Briefing

Republicans know just as well as reasonable people that medical bills being the number one cause of bankruptcy was killing the country. Obamacare means "everyone pays", which is a GOP dream.

This is about anything to bring down the president. Even bringing down the country itself. Remember how they were crowing that smart people from Blue States were moving to Red States? How will it look to those smart people with skyrocketing hospital costs from expensive emergency room treatment and a sick and unhealthy population? What a selling point.

Can you explain why Obama is pretending he can change a law that is really good if people like me are the ones that hate the country?

hey dean, who's Edie Sundby ? do you know?

Edie Sundby, a Stage-4 gallbladder cancer patient who is losing her individual health care policy in California, could pay less for comprehensive insurance in Obamacare’s health care exchanges.

Using the same calculations — minus the underwriting increase, which is outlawed by the law — we found that the Sundbys would actually pay less for health care during a high utilization year or $31,028. We did not account for tax credits in our calculations:

The new policy comes with strong consumer protections: Sundby’s plan can’t be suddenly cancelled, it won’t be able to charge her more per month just because she’s a woman and she will likely receive a more comprehensive benefits package with her new policy.

People aren't registering for obamacare. They are registering for medicaid which we have always had.

Uh, no. We have not "always had" Medicaid.

And, when it was first implemented, it was a lot worse than ObamaCare. Same with Soc Sec, Medicare.

The difference is simple. Back then, congress worked FOR the American people unlike now, when the Rs are working hard AGAINST the American people.

The Repubs are doing al they can to screw over the people. That's why they're called Republicans.

Get it?

The part you are missing is WHY the insurance company canceled her policy.

Thank you. They missed the part about her being able to get a "better policy".

think progress:lol: I love it when they decide what she should be happy with, of course like obama, think progress doesn't give a shit, she'll "likely save" and I'll likely take a trip to the space station.....:eusa_whistle:...you missed this part ;

Still, Sundby may need to find a different health care provider, since her doctor at UC San Diego is only participating in one plan offered by Anthem Blue Cross in the exchange, but the same policy is not accepted at Stanford. (“Stanford takes a different Blue Cross plan, one that uses a broader preferred provider network of doctors, but that plan is not available in San Diego.”) If Sundby continues to see the non-participating doctors, she will incur additional out-of-pocket health care costs.

of course they saved this for last, so what happened to her treatment and doctors dean? she never said she had issue with HER expense...........she wanted and realized the cost for her ability to use doctors not only in cali but outside of it too...*sigh*...
