Ya... what has happened so far to people not being able to keep their insurance is NOTHING compared to what's coming in January, when MILLIONS more, probably 80% of those insured in America by insurance they get through their employer, wait until THEY find out they can't keep their plan EITHER. It'll make what's happening today look like a cake walk.

The shit has hardly even hit the fan yet with ovomitcare, the BAD stuff is really yet to come.

It's encouraging to see some GOP Governors falling in line with the realization that it's going to get out that the states opting-out of the Medicaid expansion provision of the ACA will, in fact, be denying coverage to the provision's intended beneficiaries -- namely tens to hundreds of thousands of their own 'working poor'.

How can we still have working Poor in this country?

wasn't Obama's 800 billion stimulus suppose to take of all that? where is all them "shovel ready jobs"

so now OfailCare is suppose to be the savior of all the people who don't have jobs?

and just think, you all now get to PAY FOR IT

Unemployment now still over 7% under the Obama regime since his election SIX long years ago

How can we still have working Poor in this country? ...

There are many unfortunate factors that play into that growing phenomenon, but the corporate and private sector demonization of unions and worker advocacy groups as opposed to their own wanton greed ...comes to mind.

so now OfailCare is suppose to be the savior of all the people who don't have jobs? [...]

The Medicaid expansion provision doesn't change the work (or work training) requirements for using the social safety net; it simply widens the net to catch millions of currently uninsured people who supposedly make too much to qualify for the non-expanded version, even though many can barely afford to pay their rent.

Many of those people vote.

More than a third of the stimulus was "tax cuts". Did you support the Bush tax cuts for the rich? How many jobs did that create? I'm talking about in this country, not China.

When Republicans start admitting that mom got cancer treatment and dad found out he had high blood pressure and Jr. is covered, which was fortunate because he developed pneumonia, they are going to have a real problem with their party leadership.

by cancelling the insurance of more than 5 million the democrats have taken a flame torch to their political future. even clinton is throwing obama under the bus.

But, they don't care because, according to Harry Reid, it's just a step in the right direction to force us to single payer.

I hope Reid is right. I wanted single-payer all along.

The GOP has made so much about the federal website only registering 50,000 people, but the state exchanges are a different story.

In just California, 227,000 registered, 2.6 million have viewed the site, 226,000 have called by phone. People are checking it out.

Guv's former spokeswoman censures Utah's Mike Lee over Obamacare | The Salt Lake Tribune

In an open letter to Lee published Tuesday on the online political newsletter utahpolicy.com, Welling takes the senator and "his ilk" to task for acting like "schoolyard bullies" and their "Stop Obamacare at All Costs mantra," which she says "is hurting real people" like her mom.

A cancer survivor and long-time member of the working class, Welling’s mom, Beckie Clarkson, has been uninsured off and on over the past 16 years, because her cancer, or pre-existing condition, has prevented her from obtaining comprehensive coverage.

What happens when letters like the above start trickling out? Talk about "trickle down".

Republicans are already denying millions of Americans health care in Red States. Their only care is going to the Emergency room at many times the cost.

So how will this hurt Republicans?

Their approval rating in congress is at 9%

Emergency room visits are paid for by the local taxpayers, meaning the GOP base in Red States.

Hospitals don't get Medicare money meaning costs will skyrocket.

People will see those in Blue States getting health care.

Republicans may be laughing now, but will they have the last laugh or is their final last big screw over of the American people?

More than 1 million cancellation notices have been sent to Californians as the Affordable Care Act begins allowing individuals to buy insurance through exchanges, Jones said.
I'm sorry -- who's denying healthcare again? Hint: It wasn't the GOP that wrote the grandfathering rules.

Reality once again kicks Derp squarely in the ass.

it 27K, catch up.....

and this slobbering attempt to shift blame is about what I expect from you, you do realize if the website worked AND folks were not being taken out of what they wanted and shifter to something they don't want, this whole magilla would never have blown up.... but, leave ot to you to try and make this about someone else...

I have a feeling by the time the dust settles on this whole fiasco, obama will wish Roberts had not changed his mind and had killed it. At least then he could blame someone for blowing up his legacy, not be seen as untrustworthy cut rate fibber and progressivism would not have taken the huge hit it just did.

Yes, because the same government that spent half a billion dollars and three years on a website that doesn't work is SURE to manage your healthcare efficiently and cost-effectively.

Because those policies don't meet minimum requirements. They can get cheaper and better on the exchanges. It's the retard right that's trying to scare them. But what else do you hacks have? Remember, your idea of insurance is "let him die". I heard that from the GOP Master Debaters.

Yes, because the government does everything else so well. (See ACA website rollout.)
