Here comes another Cuban Missile Crisis, this time Joe Biden style. He has us on the verge of WW III with Russia in the Ukraine, tensions have never been higher with China over Taiwan, North Korea is firing off missiles every week. This is what a totally incompetent national security team (Blinken, Austin, Sullivan) led by a demented perv gets you. Will the Usurper initiate a Naval blockade like fellow Democrat JFK did?

Are they ready to accept another Bay of Pigs? Which in this day and age would probably be far more overt and successful than the last attempt.

Is Biden getting a cut from the deal?

Joe Biden is clean on this.
I promise.

Hunter is the real estate expert.
No doubt that he brokered a deal for Cuba to simply sublet an area for Russia to use.

Hunter never spoke to his dad or anyone else in the government he did casually say to expect new neighbors.

So many Americans are in denial of the fact that JFK lost to Kruschev due to a tradeoff being agreed upon.
Russia is very likely playing the same hand this time. Putin has various choices for a tradeoff with the US this time, but Poland comes to mind first. Or perhaps the Ukraine?

There's hardly a chance that China won't be playing their part in this too.

Not good.

Biden is no JFK.

Hell, he ain't no JFK's dog.
As stated in the OP, this could be a repetition of the Cuban Missile "Crisis" when JFK secretly agreed to remove our nuclear missiles from Turkey in return for Krushchev letting him publicly claim he was a tough guy (after the Bay of Pigs fiasco). Biden may do the same thing regarding Ukraine for the same purpose, especially after the Afghanistan fiasco.

I hadn't thought of that. It's possible. It's an election season and Biden doesn't want to be hammered by Trump on sending billions to Ukraine in a useless situation.

Well we should be like Russia in Ukraine. Just invade Cuba and be done with it. Cuba for a short period was under US military rule.

A useless situation? If peace couod have been made.early it souod have been. Otherwise, Russia or any other aggressor cannot be allowed to bully a smaller nation

Yeah, cuz only we Americans are entitled to do that. Damn Russians need to stay in their lane...

Russia warned the United States on Thursday that Moscow had the might to put the world's pre-eminent superpower

Is Russia conceding that they will be defeated but they will die trying.

China leaders in the meanwhile are rubbing their hands and saying "Good, Good just as we planned".

Russia is in a far worse position to try this now than it was back then. All the negatives that Russia faced back then still exist plus a whole raft of new ones. Russia’s Navy is a series of floating junk piles. I’m surprised that a Udaloy actually managed to steam all the way to Cuba. Cuba sits in the middle of an American lake and is broke. Cuba’s military is equipped with Russian hand-me-downs from the sixties almost all of which are probably in poor condition since Cuba has lacked the money to maintain them since the Soviet money give-away stopped at the fall of the USSR.

At the same time, Russia is sending the message that they are broadening their horizons.

Russia and China both see the US occupation of S.K. to be up for trading too.

Venezuela could be coming next.

In all these instances, they're statements being made on the Ukraine situation. China will join the situation in Cuba and others to make their statement on Taiwan.

And of course in all cases it's about which side will prevail as the predominant world power.
