No Evidence Injured During Arrest

Interesting, why no cameras in these vans? That's something that should be considered in the future.

BREAKING NEWS: Preliminary findings show Freddie Gray suffered head injury in police transport van

An investigation into the death of Baltimore resident Freddie Gray has found no evidence that his fatal injuries were caused during the videotaped arrest and interaction with police officers, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

The sources spoke to ABC7 News after being briefed on the findings of a police report tuned over to prosecutors on Thursday as well as preliminary findings made by the medical examiner's office.

Sources said the medical examiner found Gray's catastrophic injury was caused when he slammed into the back of the police transport van, apparently breaking his neck; a head injury he sustained matches a bolt in the back of the van.

Some witnesses in the van have stated he was banging his against the wall repeatedly.

This has been posted several times already and posting it again doesn't make it any more believable.

He was chased for no reason, other than the fact that he "fled unprovoked upon noticing a police pretense". IOW, if you're Black, its against the law to avoid police.

He was taken into custody for the possession of a switchblade knife. The max sentence for that is one year in prison.

Its not a death penalty offense.

Make all the excuses you want - he was killed by police, for no reason.

He was killed by police how? links? Proof? nope, you are gonna look like a fool just like you did with trayvon and the gentle giant.

This is exactly what I said from the get go.
Of course I assumed the cops gave him the nickel ride.

I'll wait a bit longer to draw any conclusions. All I'll say is that the timing seems to strongly suggest that his injury had something to do with being in police custody. As people with broken necks don't normally sprint away from cops or ride bikes.

Beyond that, I dunno.

The medical examiner's report is not believable? So I guess this is a conspiracy now, right?

I guess they'll be drinking wine and eating steak at the police station tonight. Let the celebration begin. The cops escaped yet again, and no charges, just an unfortunate accident. WOW !!! .... I can well understand why these things seem to happen all the time. Person dies, cop walks.

Statistically this doesn't happen all the time though. Come on, why don't you just admit all of this is misdirected anger at the police, when black people should really be upset at the lack of morality and work ethic from the people in their community.

hypocrite OP is AGAINST the police except for when he's FOR them. :eusa_doh: EVERYONE here knows his whiner M.O. What a ASSCLOWN

So, if he beat his head into the van on his own until he accidentally gave himself a fatal injury it was the police that killed him?

Do you honestly think that his race was the defining factor in him running and the police giving chase? You really think that if he was white the cops would not have chased him down?

Yet another case of determining what happened before any evidence is collected and then rejecting anything that comes up.

OK .... you win .......... I'll admit that cops are somehow involved when a person dies, especially if that person is unarmed, in police custody, or reaching for their waistband. Yep, you're right, none of these incidences are due to unnecessary force, brutality, murder, beatings, or other polite police acts. I agree with you, cops shouldn't be held responsible, they're well within their rights to do as they wish, without question, and without suspicion.

FYI - My anger is NOT misdirected, it's very well directed and focused. No one fabricates these stories, and cops aren't GOD. There're way too many videos, eye witnesses, and media coverage, that show police misconduct. Yet, rarely are cops held to the same standards as John Q. Public. Cops are dirty, cops commit crimes, cops lie, cops steal, cops rape, and cops murder. No one makes this stuff up. These are real people, real stories, and real funerals. This has been going on for a very long time, and we see the favoritism shown to members of law enforcement. In my opinion, cops are low-life POS.

Did someone say BOMBSHELL?

But, he's not alive to tell his side of the story, nor tell the events that lead to his death. There were no witnesses. The other person in the transport vehicle couldn't see what was going on because there was a metal divider between the two passengers. The dead man and the cops are the only ones that know what happened for sure, and the dead man can't talk.

Not really....He was in Police Custody, he was not strapped in, and he may have been injured and was not given immediate medical attention. Plenty there for the cops to be concerned about. Everyone should wait until ALL the facts are out before coming to any conclusions or making any judgments. It would have been good to have a camera in the police van to see if some of the theories are true.
