Can we agree this is a masterpiece???

Themes of humanity , morality, life , compassion, dangers of technology and evil big business

The atmosphere and themes is hard to beat

Only question??
Why did he kill Sebastian??

WTF calling it 1982? It's just plain:

Bladerunner

Wallowing in Wah-Wah-Wah

A lot better than the dreary and negativist short story it was based on. I noticed the same reversal of Postmodern sophomoric gloating about gloom in The Devil Wears Prada.

Batty was acting out his rage at being denied more life by Tyrell. Batty liked to think of himself as a superior man, and he was in some ways, but he was programmed to kill and couldn't deny his nature. It actually ties in to the idea that Deckard is a replicant who also can't deny his nature.
