One of the reasons why I as a kid could walk up to Quindaro iBlvd n Kansas City Kansas as a 5 or 6 year old kid in the 50s was that people who would be inclined to snatch a kid or abuse them was taken care of by the fathers. Believe me, no perverts lived in my neighborhood very long. People like that knew better or were taken care of.
