for women recovering from abuse, incarceration and trafficking
To curb prostitution, Houston tries rehab instead of jail - NY Daily News
also has reinvented the term to stand for something more empowering.
I will have to ask her, but her organization uses HO and BITCH to mean
positive affirmations as a way for women to support and uplift each other
instead of adopting the same negative degrading language that
others abuse to demean manipulate and subjugate them as inferior.
