Bill is still a great speaker, and regardless of the content of his speech, I think it will help Romney because tomorrow night voters will be thinking, "I know Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is a friend of mine, and Barack Obama is no Bill Clinton." By comparison, Barack Obama will look like a poor second choice, and rather than increase enthusiasm for Obama, it should diminish it. If you watched Michelle Obama's face during Clinton's speech, it was clear she understood this.
