President Trump immediately responded by asking President Zelensky to “do us a favor though” and openly pressed for Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Biden.

Let me repeat it, slowly this time. Prosecutors do not have to show a single dime being sent to Joe's bank account to constitute bribery under the Federal statute for bribery. Standard for impeachment is even more weak.

But Obama did not have sole authority to cut off congressionally approved financial aid to Ukraine.

That's exactly what the Dems accused Trump of doing. In fact, they impeached him over it. The big difference is that Trump temporarily delayed military aid. As commander in chief of the military the president has the sole authority over military weapons exports, therefore What Trump did was perfectly 100% legit.

Turns out that the Democrats were projecting again. It was actually Joe Biden who involved in an illegal Quid Pro Quo with Ukraine.

Biden also demanded that Ukraine install a corrupt puppet, Yuriy Lutsenko, into the prosecutor general's office. And called him a "solid" guy. That means that Lutsenko owed them a big favor.

You see, Lutsenko was rotting away in a dilapidated hellhole 18th century prison until Burisma bribed his way out. Lutsenko was in prison for using state police resources to illegally spy on his political opponents and other corrupt activities when he was the Interior Minister.

So yes indeed, Lutsenko owed Burisma a huge favor. And after Biden installed him as Prosecutor General he closed the criminal cases against Burisma.

So tell me this, why do you suppose that Biden was so insistent on having a corrupt convict installed as Prosecutor General?
