For what reasons, I don't know."


Wood and others have portrayed a State Department in Washington that was either unwilling to provide American officials in Libya with the security they required or ignorant of the pressing security concerns in a country where the central government is weak, and Islamic extremist militias have enjoyed virtual free reign in the power vacuum created by the toppling and killing of long-time dictator Muammar Qaddafi

I was listening to something somewhere and the way it was explained was that the PDB has traditionally been printed for the president to read. Because Bush did not like to read he started having the PDB presented to him rather than having the report printed out.

Obama has to rely on the reports coming from the field. This administration and the military are not strongly centralized and rigid. Those in command of areas are the ones reporting to the president or his aides, cabinet, etc., Obama was not in benghazi nor was biden, so they have to no idea what is really going on. You can continue to make excuses for Obama, but they're not credible. Once that consulate was attacked, Obama should have immediately turned his full attention into finding our what happened.
