I'm trying to sort through the haze of statements such as "missed 60% of briefings".

I mean, can anyone here prove that? Or is that just another unsubstantiated claim like how the President took a third of the Navy and spent $2 billion on his foreign trip to Indonesia a couple years back when that was clearly bullshit?

If someone votes to cut Embassy security funding, why should that person be allowed to investigate a lack of Embassy security?

Hi, I'm a Congressman who voted against security for our people abroad, so now I'm going to finger-point to everybody else!

When Darryl Issa and the rest of those ratfinks decide to actually take responsibility for their own bullshit, than maybe I'll pay attention to them, but it's difficult to take all that noise seriously when all they do is cry wolf every other week about how evil Barack Obama is.

I don't like it when Americans are so quick to accuse each other before they actually come to understand the facts.

daily mail on facebook, my, my.

(smile) Obama has blood on his hands kid.(it says follow us on FB) do try and comprehend what you read.

According to one of the key witnesses expected to testify before the committee this week, even Ambassador Stevens himself had repeatedly requested more security personnel, but was turned down.

Lt. Col. Andy Wood, the former head of a U.S. Special Forces "Site Security Team" in Libya, has told CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson that he and many other senior staff at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, "felt we needed more, not less" security personnel in the country, but were told "to do with less. For what reasons, I don't know."

Wood and others have portrayed a State Department in Washington that was either unwilling to provide American officials in Libya with the security they required or ignorant of the pressing security concerns in a country where the central government is weak, and Islamic extremist militias have enjoyed virtual free reign in the power vacuum created by the toppling and killing of long-time dictator Muammar Qaddafi

Just thank me for your education kid.

Obama is the BOSS. Just like in a company if the company does not do well they are going to blame the CEO right Well same thing Obama is in charge of the company he should know what is going on this country , He doesnt because he is too busy spending our money and campaigning

The Government Accountability Institute, a new conservative investigative research organization, examined President Obama’s schedule from the day he took office until mid-June 2012, to see how often he attended his Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) — the meeting at which he is briefed on the most critical intelligence threats to the country. During his first 1,225 days in office, Obama attended his PDB just 536 times — or 43.8 percent of the time. During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less frequent — falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush almost never missed his daily intelligence meeting.

And asa result, during Bush we experienceced 9/11, white powder mailed to congressmen, shoe bombers, etc. Nobody is perfect and all actions by humans are not 100% forseable

What this administration has shown us is that it is always someone else fault..........

8 years of Republican screw ups? Yet everything was great and going good (other than Bush spending too damned much) until when? Yep we all know it was when the democrats got control of congress that shit went to hell.....

Idiocy-You're a brainwashed chump of the greedy rich. Change the channel and read something.
He is correct, even a big idiot like you knows it. CHUMP!!!

So the failings of bush are an excuse for the failings of Obama? Got it.....Weak, really weak..

I was listening to something somewhere and the way it was explained was that the PDB has traditionally been printed for the president to read. Because Bush did not like to read he started having the PDB presented to him rather than having the report printed out.

Obama has to rely on the reports coming from the field. This administration and the military are not strongly centralized and rigid. Those in command of areas are the ones reporting to the president or his aides, cabinet, etc., Obama was not in benghazi nor was biden, so they have to no idea what is really going on. It would be impossible for one or two men to run the entire US of A empire alone.

You can continue to make excuses for Obama, but they're not credible. Once that consulate was attacked, Obama should have immediately turned his full attention into finding our what happened. We had embassies under assault all over the Middle East and what was Obama's response? He went to Vegas.

For anyone who likes to read this article is informative. So many people have know idea what they are talking about but are sure there is a Democrat to blame around here somewhere and that is all that matters to them.

NYT: Benghazi attacks had no private security backup - The New York Times - TODAY.com
Many diplomats rankle at the constraints imposed on them by security officials, who demand that they travel around foreign capitals in heavily armored convoys that local civilians find insulting and that make it nearly impossible for the envoys to meet discreetly with foreign officials. Many American diplomats have also grown deeply frustrated by the constraints imposed on them by working in the new, highly secure embassies that have been constructed around the world over the past decade.

How do you think anything in that article excuses this administration?

Don't take this personally or anything but you're a dumb ass, actually you should probably take that personally.

Skipping 60% of your briefings will do that.

We need a president who actually wants to be president.

You're one of the dumbest people on this board but even YOU know better than this. You just use lies like this to start really stoooopid threads.

Really? Is that why his rep is still growing and you had to have admin remove your's?

Shut the fuck up ya stinking load of rat shit.
