Best Supergroups?

Who do you think are the best supergroups of all time? And for the record, I'm defining supergroup as a band that includes 2 or more members that had already achieved success as part of another musical act (or solo).

Off the top of my head, here is a list of supergroups (in no particular order) to choose from:

Cream (the original supergroup)
CSN (and sometimes Y)
Blind Faith
The Firm
Temple of the Dog
Audioslave
Velvet Revolver
Bad Company
Emerson, Lake and Palmer (Powell)
Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe
Asia
Derek and the Dominos
Travelling Wilburys
The Highwaymen
Damn Yankees

Except maybe the Eagles after Joe Walsh joined.

While I havent given a damn about reality tv since the second season of the real world I have to say this show was pretty fun to watch.

Bach, Ian, NUGENT, biohazard guy and the son of one of the greatest drummers ever? good stuff.


I am tempted to answer Cream but... I listened to the best of last night and they do have some goofy shit too.

I've tossed around that idea too.. kinda like an hour long debate show with political faces going head to head over major issues... Dawkins and Stein hashing out science, dobson and hitchens taking on dogma, etc...



but thats not the one i was talking about here.
