According to CNN Bernie Sanders will continue his bid for the Nomination of the Democratic Party for now...

Bernie Sanders is not dropping out - CNN.com

My opinion:

He should drop out of the race because there is no way for him to win, and the same can be said for Kasich and Cruz.

Sanders is 820 delegates behind Clinton and Clinton only needs 242 delegates to clinch the party nomination, and she will get that with California.

Bernie made a great run but in the end it is over. His best bet is to work with Clinton and unite the Democratic Party and maybe ask for the VP spot on the ticket.

As for the GOP side Cruz and Kasich need to leave the race. Neither can win the nomination unless it is a brokered convention and do they really want to splinter the GOP that damn bad because they hate Trump that much?

Look I love giving Trump supporters hell but enough is enough and the only person with a clear road to victory for the nomination is Trump.

Cruz has ran out of steam, and Kasich never had it.

It is time for everyone in the GOP to put away the childish nonsense and heal from the wounds that were caused during this primary season because if Cruz and Kasich stay in they will splinter the party more.

I understand Cruz is miffed ( putting it nicely guys ) but it is time to be an adult and accept he will never be the Presidential nominee for the GOP even if a brokered convention happens.

It is over and Clinton and Trump are the actual nominees even if they are still a little short from getting the total numbers they need.

Clinton has a quicker way than Trump but still Trump should be able to get it too.

It time to call the primary season and time to heal and get ready for the General Election where Gary Johnson can be the Bernie Sanders of the General Election... ( Yeah baby )

I uh don't think the point is or ever has been winning, and certainly isn't "uniting the Democratic Party".

I doubt Sanders ever expected to win and was presumably as surprised as anyone else that he got as far as he did. I don't think that was ever the end game. So there's no reason to quit until forced to. That would be counterproductive.

Similarly, Cruz and Kasich splintering the (Republican) party --- who cares? Political parties don't do squat for us. Their goal is to perpetuate themselves. More splintering power to 'em, although to be honest it's Rump who's done the splintering.

Then he is doing more damage and that is not good.

Look I dislike Clinton but it is over and staying in is just for their egos now and Sanders should be a true leader and after California say goodbye.

Hell I like Sanders but his time is done.

He is the Progressive Left version of Ron Paul, and he is fun but there is a time to say goodbye and let the season roll on.

The same for Cruz and Kasich but I believe Cruz is too hell bent on getting revenge with Trump over comments like " Canadian Anchor Baby " to let it go, and I really do not know why Kasich is still in unless he think he can steal it in a Brokered Convention and if so it will split the ticket even more...

Why are you so concerned with the well-being of political parties? Fuck 'em.

Bernie is hoping for a cataclysm for Hillary's campaign to occur such as the email scandal that would win over the remaining delegates and super delegates in July. Will this happen? Probably not, but I think Bernie thinks he would be doing an injustice to his passionate base to drop out now.

It really is a shame. I honestly think a big reason for Hillary's domination is the lack of faith dems have for Bernie in the general election which is bullshit because he beats any republcan in those hypothetical match ups.

I understand it is about that Clinton is an insider that is controlled by Wall Street but if Bernie keep on going and refuses to let go then it could mean Trump in November and does Bernie and those that voted for him want that?

To me there is not much difference between Trump and Clinton but still the Progressive left may see it differently.

Sanders end game is to go to the convention and try to move the democratic party from "new democrats" that Hillary represents towards the new deal values they stood for for decades.

Bernie beats any republcan in hypothetical match ups by large margins. Hillary only beats Trump and even that is by a smaller margin than Bernie's. People really need to wake up and see the reality of Bernie's support. Yes, he'll lose to Hillary, but he has support on both sides of the aisle. The term socialist is means jack shit to Americans nowadays.. That was only a tag Obama couldn't shake off in 2008.

Sanders will endorse the Democratic nominee he has said that and is a man of his word.

There's much more.

You will have some Bernie Sanders supporters that vote Democrat even if Hillary is in there.............because it is considered the lesser of two evils. That's fine. There are Republicans that will do the same.

TPP and Clinton. Foreign policy and Clinton. Clinton is maintaining the status quo. So, ya............lots of us have no intention of voting for Clinton or any Democrats.......because of policy. Not some drummed up shit used to hide the motivations of the Republicans. Nope. No healing.

And he shouldn't drop out until the last state has voted. Let those people have their say, then he can concede that Hillary beat him, but let the voters of CA and DC have their voices heard first.

Why? it's not like they're going to say anything worth listening to anyways... Personally I'd prefer that they just shut the fuck up for a change, after all they've made a big enough mess of things already.

Then don't listen. Nobody is forcing you to.

The only beat Bernie has is off. He hasn't been vetted. Once is admiration for Castro becomes common knowledge, his wife's legal problems, and all the mischief are known, the guy would be toast.

I suppose you think you're being funny? Bernie absolutely should not drop out until after CA on June 7th and DC on June 15th. Let the Californians who have been supporting him this whole time cast their votes for him...

Then we can settle on into the fun that will be the General Election battle when it's Clinton vs Trump.

I cannot WAIT!
