Hillary needed Warren or some other Sanders style Socialist to give the Sanders followers a pain killing symbolic bone.

Had she done so, I think the Sanders people that will vote for Trump would have been in single digits, but instead with Kaine, I think Trump will likely get 25% to 40% of the Sanders vote.

That could be the difference in the election, but I doubt it.

Wrong. Kaine is a moderate. 45% of the voters in presidential elections identify as moderates. Trump left a void in the center when he picked Pence.
