I've been a Democrat all my life. I've been here 7 months and have been questioning why!

I grew up in a Union Democrat family in Texas, and I was a Republican for a while back in the Reagan era, but George H W Bush woke me up from that spell by 1990.

Now I am a proud principled Centrist.

But there are a great many Socialists that are not Marxists, like those similar to Sanders who want a 'Nordic Model' of Socialism, which is really a form of capitalism with a heavy dose of 'share the pain' style safety nets.

With the jobless economy we are moving toward in the Robotics Revolution, we are fated to have some form of Nordic Socialism; I would bet the house on it.

The GOP needs to figure out how to accommodate this or become a permanent Third Party.
