President Trump and lawmakers on Capitol Hill have also been informed about the Russian assistance to the Vermont senator, according to people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence.

The Russians? How do they stand to gain by having Bernie Sanders sitting in the White House? As opposed to Donald Trump, I mean. How has the Trump presidency benefited Russia in any way, shape, or form?

While I do not support Trump I do give them credit for not shooting down Russian planes like Hillary said she would .

Sanders then responded that other countries need to stay out of our elections. While Russia might try to help Sanders, he doesn't want their help as he doesn't want any other countries messing with our elections.
