Now, the smart ones among you will find out what Senator Gillibrand's legislation is about. That will give you actual numbers.

You have no idea what socialism is.

First, Sanders never 'promised socialism'. President's are very limited in their powers, so he couldn't turn America socialist unless he had huge cooperation from congress.

Second, in a socialist society, every abled bodied person works. The only people that do not work are the disabled.

Thirdly, insuring that working people are entitled to a descent standard of living (which they are), is not a giveaway. It's taking money from thieves and giving it back to the people that earned it.

All patriotic Americans should be willing to pay their fair share. The rich should pay more because they consume the most resources and have the most to protect.

Fair share. Sure. Federal expenditures for the year divided by total citizens in the country, multiplied by the number of people in you household should equal your hoisehold share. Gee, your share = $30K and you only make $15K..... TOO DAMN BAD.
