First of all the main problems that the country faced when Barack Obama took office was the economy and unemployment. So what did Barry do? He concentrated on getting ObamaCare passed while millions of Americans burned through their life's savings looking for jobs that didn't exist. Instead of working WITH Republicans to fix the economy, Barack Obama shoved his version of health care reform down their throats while adding insult to injury by shoving his joke of a stimulus plan down their throats as well. Then when the American electorate showed EXACTLY how unhappy they were over what the Democrats had done with their majorities by sending Republicans to Washington in the mid-terms...progressives like yourself started whining about Republican "obstructionism".

Susan Rice is very qualified for the SOS position. She's done a very good job as UN Ambassador. There is no reason she won't be able to perform her duties as Secretary of State.

There is a huge difference between not releasing information and deliberately releasing false information.

That false information wasn't put out to confuse the enemy by the way...that false information was put out for the American people's consumption. Trying to hide behind "national security" as the reason for those lies is laughable.

The choice was to go with the un-classified media talking points (developed by several agencies at the request of the House Oversight Committee) as opposed to giving out the Classified information. With all due respect, WS? Your "sources" don't even begin to answer questions about what happened in Benghazi. What the Obama White House put out as a "time line" simply leads to MORE questions. Why were troops not deployed until nearly 17 HOURS after the attack began? What was Barack Obama doing while this was going on? They had a live feed from a drone almost immediately. Why wouldn't what they saw on the ground have not prompted an immediate deployment of military assets to counter the attack? Leon Panetta states that the US did not have fighter planes within range to respond to requests for aid? Really? In that region we don't have fighter planes? I'm sorry, Mr. Panetta but I find that claim to border on the preposterous.

How can the activities of the President "not" be pertinent? Is he not the Commander In Chief? Was he not informed about what was happening in Benghazi almost from the moment it began? What was his response? What did he DO? What did Panetta DO? There appears to be a long period of time going by when NOTHING was done. A period of time when another two Americans would appear to have died without need.
