I must confess, I've been two-timing you, USMB. I'm spending time at a more international forum.

    ---

On this more internationally-focused board, I find myself under attack in ways I had even imagined, an intense anti-American sentiment that political ideology could not cure. I am forever below them, simply because I was born and raised in America.

After spending just a little time there, I already lack the will to fight with many of the hardcore partisans on USMB. I wonder if others on this forum would lose their partisan edge if they stepped outside the mindspace of our own country.

Though we haven't figured it out, many in the world hate all Americans equally, regardless of how we divide ourselves.

I have been on a lot of these boards that think America is the evil empire.

Strange thing is if you hang around them long enough sooner or latter you get the private messages asking how they can get a green card?

hahahahahahahahahahaha Strange, isn't it? Anyway, evil or not, USA got war and forces all around the world and defend some countrie that you may consider evil. But politics... well this is other stuff. About people, I don't think that anyone can complain about you USA's people.

I don't know, the people of Oklahoma get on my nerves.

They can't keep their own wind on their own prairie.

    Nobody from Brazil.

The forum I was referencing has a very high concentration of Europeans, and socialists in general.

Indeed, Greece can only get the usual attention of Turkey these days.
