Baltimore's deadliest month in 15 years: May counts 35 homicides, so far

(CNN) - Baltimore is seeing its deadliest month in 15 years after an outbreak of Memorial Day weekend violence left nine people dead in 29 shootings. So far, Baltimore has tallied 35 homicides this month, police said. The last time Baltimore saw that many homicides was December 1999, police said.

Who is to blame Baltimore mess is happening and is not limited to the riots themselves? Nobody and everybody. Nobody because there is no clear right and wrong in this case. Everybody because police department, black community and local authorities are equally guilty in Baltimore incidents. The problem is not limited to police brutality. We've tried to fix the city by addressing its cops. What is the outcome? 35 homicides in May alone. The problem of police brutality exists, but it is not the only problem. Federal government, if it really wants to fix something, should work with African-American community and local police altogether instead of blaming cops.

I am not sure this is what anybody wants in this country, even liberals. Their logic and political agenda may be different but in the end we all want to live in the atmosphere of safety and peace. Liberal delusion regarding race relations in the US is dangerous. Instead of helping black people bridge the gap between races they reward black community with benefits no matter what happens.

Blacks don't want the cops in their neighborhoods because the meme is that every time a cop is involved with a Black person the sole motivation is racism
