We're about ready to find out if that's true. This thug is about ready to genocide tens if not hundreds of thousands of his people!

Here is something to think about.
The worlds attention is split between Syria and Iran.
The Israeli's want Assad to remain in power.
When they attack Iran the focus on Syria will disappear and everyone will be dealing with that. Assad can do whatever he wants to subdue his people. Saddam did the same thing back in the day.

Side note. Just because the troops are getting gas mask does not guarantee chemical attacks. In a riot situation the use of CS gas and other non-lethal gases is SOP for all military's and police forces.

*shrugs* arabs will gas each other and it goes way back, ( aside form saddam), Nasser sent Egyptian forces to Yemen in 62 I think it was to fight in the northern Yemeni civil war, they used gas, and then again a few years later more intensively when they got desperate... saddam used it in his own country so, this isn't new either.

You know you are probably right. Even though our military did not find WMD when they went in. How many months did Saddam have to get them out of the country.. Plus we already know they had some since in the first gulf war Saddam killed the kurds with muster gas.
